The final committee member to introduce herself is Bethan Taylor! She is this year's Social Secretary and Inclusions Officer.
"Hi, I’m Bethan and I'm going in to third year of university studying Geography. Before coming to the university, I had never known that lifesaving clubs existed, but had always enjoined swimming.
I joined the club a year and a half ago as I wanted to get involved in a society and Lifesaving sounded very unique; it has a relaxed and fun atmosphere that makes it easy to forget how vital the skills you learn are.
In my final year of university, I want to get more involved in the club and I am excited to be the new Social Secretary and Inclusions Officer. In my roles, I want to make sure that everyone has an amazing time while being included in the club and help get more people involved in this fantastic sport."
Find out more about the roles of each committee member in the 'The Committee' section of our website.
We hope you have enjoyed reading about the committee members, and we look forward to meeting you all in September! If you have any questions with regards to the club, please feel free to contact any one of us on Facebook. Come meet us at the Sports Fair in the SU on 22nd September to find out more, and come to our Give it a Go sessions on 25th, 27th, and 28th September! Enjoy the rest of your summer holidays.
Lifesaving Love.
