Freshers 2017!

With only one more week to go until the start of Freshers Week 2017, we want to welcome each and every one of you who will be joining the University of Sheffield - we are just as excited as you are!

We're sure you've given some thought into which nights out you want to go to, which clubs and bars you want to visit, but most importantly, which sports clubs and societies you want to join! Clubs and societies shape your whole university experience! You'll get the chance to meet many people from different courses, but all with a common interest.

If you want to try something different, lifesaving may be perfect for you. We incorporate many vital self-survival and first aid skills, along with fitness, speed and agility in the pool. Any body is welcome to join our club, whether you're a first year student, a masters or PhD student, a total beginner, or an experienced lifeguard! You will even have the chance to represent Team Black & Gold at our league competitions, improve your fitness and skills at our training sessions, join us on our socials, and also gain many internationally recognised qualifications!

If you're still unsure about what lifesaving is, come visit our stall at the Sports Fair on Friday 22nd September and pick up a leaflet. We look forward to seeing you all! Please don't hesitate to come forward if you have any questions.
