FRESHERS 2018!

Congratulations to all University of Sheffield offer-holders receiving their A-level results today! We hope you got the grades you were hoping for and that you're looking forward to your first year at university - we're just as excited as you are!

We're sure you've given some thought into which nights out you want to go to, which clubs and bars you want to visit, but most importantly, which sports clubs and societies you want to join! Sports clubs and societies shape your whole university experience! You'll get the chance to meet many people from different courses, but all with a common interest.

If you want to try something different, lifesaving may be perfect for you. We incorporate many vital self-survival and first aid skills, along with fitness, speed and agility in the pool. We offer the chance to represent Team Black & Gold and compete in lifesaving sport against other universities in the country, improve your fitness and swimming skills in the pool, join us on our socials, and also gain different internationally recognised qualifications that look great on your CV. Anybody is welcome to join our club, whether you're a first year student, a masters or PhD student, a total beginner, or an experienced swimmer!
