The new UoSLSC Committee would like to take this opportunity over the next week to introduce themselves! Please feel free to get in contact with any of us if you have any queries or if you're interested in joining us in September. First up to introduce herself is this year's Club Captain & Publicity Officer, King Yee Cheung! "Hi! I’m King Yee and I’m a fourth year Biomedical Science student. I’d never done lifesaving before I started university but now I can say it’s one of the best and most rewarding things I’ve been a part of. My proudest achievements include winning BULSCA medals, competing with one of the best clubs in Singapore on my year abroad, coaching the squad to win an overall bronze medal last year at the National Student Championships 2018 as Speeds Training Officer, and also winning an international SERC medal. As this year’s Club Captain, I look forward to expanding our club with the help of my committee. Last year our club won BULSCA’s Club of the Year and Sport Sheffield’s Most Improved Club. This year I hope we can top that and continue to be successful! I’m remaining as the club’s Publicity Officer this year, so you’ll be seeing a lot more posts from me on our social media pages and our website – check them out for more details about our club and our taster sessions! I hope that the new members of our club will get the same chance to create some wonderful memories and experiences like I have done. See you all soon!"
